What the contact form collects

If you fill in the contact form, we receive the name, email address, organization and message you typed. That is everything the form asks for and everything we get.

It reaches us as an email, sent through Resend, our email provider. It is not written to a database on this site. Your email address is set as the reply address so that answering you is a normal reply.

We keep that email as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the work that follows. Ask us to delete it and we will.

What the site measures

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see which pages are visited and how quickly they load. Both are privacy-friendly by design: they do not set advertising cookies, do not follow you to other sites, and do not build a profile of you.

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or social media trackers.

Like any website, the servers that host this one keep short technical logs of the requests they answer, such as the network address a request came from and the page it asked for. Vercel uses them to keep the site running and secure, and they are deleted on its own schedule. We do not use them to identify anyone.

Who else sees it

Three companies handle this site's data because they run the parts it is built on: Vercel hosts the site, Resend delivers the contact email, and our own email provider stores the message once it arrives. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone's marketing.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will do it.

This site is run from Canada and we follow PIPEDA, Canada's federal privacy law. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
